Sara the Weaver


 Co-founder at L3b, is an educator, facilitator, TEDx curator, and poet. She completed her MSc in Comparative and International Education at the University of Oxford in 2011. Since then, she has worked at Wellspring Learning Community for 6 years as a grade 3 homeroom teacher, then as a middle and high school IB drama teacher, and as the CAS and service learning coordinator. In 2017, she left to co-found L3b. She has also worked at AltCity, organizing events, workshops and hackathons around entrepreneurship, tech, and design. In her own time, she facilitates workshops for professionals around tapping into groups’ wisdom through empowered decision-making and conflict transformation. As a poet, she co-founded the collective Raw Voices and the annual competition— Beirut Poetry Slam. She is also a TEDx curator and speaker (TEDxLAU 2012), currently hosting monthly TEDxHamra Salons. At L3b, Sara is known as the weaver, making unlikely connections to create meaning.
